Two simple steps to get 100% Schengen visas to the Czech Republic

Step 1: It is necessary to collect and bring us the necessary documents (described above). If fingerprints have already been submitted, personal presence is not required, and residents of other cities can send their documents by mail.

If the prints were not submitted, you can even transfer the documents by courier, but you will have to drive up and submit the prints to the consulate.

Step 2: Pick up your passport with visa at the office or receive it by mail at convenient place and at a convenient time. (To receive a passport with a visa by mail, you must order this service from the carrier operating in your area, for example, DHL, EMS or another courier service.)

Refusal of a Schengen visa

Refusal of a visa to the Czech Republic is not uncommon, although if you carefully look at who is applying for a visa and how they do it, it is worth noting that, despite all the loyalty, it will be difficult for these persons to get a visa to any EU country.

Most often, the reasons are standard:

  • errors in filling out documents;
  • incorrectly collected documents (they are not enough or they do not meet the requirements, there are not sufficient financial guarantees);
  • there were violations of the immigration regime or the rule of law in previous trips.

We do not share the point of view of the EU consulates, but we noticed that they are quite biased towards certain nationalities and regions of residence and birth of persons applying for a visa (Caucasus, Central Asia and Transcaucasia).

But there are also not very standard refusals, which refuseniks do not always understand and accept, although based on the realities, they are quite reasonable from the point of view of the European Union. Such examples might include a beard, given that the visa applicant was born in the Caucasus or Central Asia and lives in Moscow. On a reasonable remark that it is fashionable, we can recommend visiting other countries that are loyal to this kind of fashion.

it should be borne in mind that in case of refusal, the person who received it can reapply for a visa, eliminating the reasons for the refusal. It should be borne in mind that the visa service and other fees will have to be paid again.

note

With a Czech multi-visa, you can also enter a number of countries that are not members of the Schengen agreement, but which admit to themselves on a Schengen visa (Bulgaria, Romania, Cyprus, Croatia). By single entry visa you can only visit the Czech Republic.

A Schengen visa must be applied for in the country where you are going to spend more days.

The countdown of the period of 180 days, during which a tourist can stay in the country for up to 90 days, occurs in the reverse order from each day of stay.

We kindly ask you to pay attention to the relevance, size of photographs and requirements for the size of the face on them.

Each applicant must submit his / her complete set of documents, even if the applicants are traveling together.

For minor children, it is always necessary to attach a copy of the birth certificate.

When planning a trip, you should act on the basis of the situation. If there is no real confirmation of the place of residence, tickets, insurance, experience in filling out a visa application, it is better not to risk it. For many years we have been helping you to issue visas in a short time with a minimum package of documents. Using our services, you can be 99.9% sure that your visa will be issued on time. In practice, there are very few refusals and they are associated with violations of laws on the territory of the European Union (failure to comply with the terms of stay in the country, not paying fines, being brought to the police, etc.).

Visit fabulous Prague, improve your health mineral waters Karlovy Vary, baked pork, dumplings and mouth-watering fruit strudels - everyone has something to do in the Czech Republic. Many people come here on business visits, to stay with relatives and friends, or decide to get an education here. In this article, we will tell you about what documents are needed in 2020 to obtain each type of Czech visa.

What documents will be needed for a Czech Schengen visa in your case will depend on the purpose of your visit, as well as on whether you plan to acquire a multiple entry visa or if you only need a stamp for a one-time visit. Let's consider both options.

Standard list of documents

To obtain a visa to the Czech Republic, you need standard documents - the list in 2020 is the same as for any other Schengen visa.

  • International passport. Check its validity period: according to the 2020 rules, it must be at least 3 months (you need to count from the estimated date of the end of your trip);
  • Old foreigner, as well as a copy of all its pages;

Copies of pages of old passports with previously obtained visas is a prerequisite for obtaining a multiple-entry Schengen visa.

  • Copies of Russian passport pages;
  • A completed application form. You can download its form, and read the rules of registration here;
  • Photo (1 piece). The photo must be on a white background, with a face occupying 80% of the image area.

The size of the photo is 3.5 * 4.5 cm. You can familiarize yourself with the detailed requirements for photos in force in 2020, and examples of correctly and incorrectly taken pictures;

An example of a photo taken correctly

  • Certificate from work, made not earlier than a month ago. It indicates the length of service in this organization, the size wages, position, the fact that you retain workplace for the entire period of a trip to Europe;

If you are not working, attach a sponsorship letter stating that the costs of your trip are borne by a third party, a certificate of the state of his bank account, a copy of the pages of a double-page spread with a photograph and a double-page spread with registration of his Russian passport.

  • A bank statement or a photocopy of a bank card + a check from an ATM;
  • Proof of financial solvency. According to the requirements of 2020, you must have an amount equivalent to at least 1010 Czech crowns per day (that is, just over 3 thousand Russian rubles). This rule only applies to trips that are less than 30 days. If your trip lasts from 30 to 60 days, the total amount of funds required is 34,340 CZK (approximately 105 thousand rubles). If you expect to stay in the Czech Republic from 60 to 90 days, you need to certify the consular officer that you have the amount of 38,380 Czech crowns (this is about 117 thousand rubles).

Persons under the age of 18 in 2020 are allowed to confirm the presence of only half of the above amount, that is, for example, for a trip that lasts less than a month, it is not 1010 kroons, but only 505 kroons.

  • It does not matter if you are traveling exclusively to Prague (where prices are, of course, higher) or if you plan to visit several Czech cities - the amount will be the same.

You can prove your financial viability in different ways. You can make a certificate from the bank (see an example), an account statement from an ATM will do. You also need to attach a photocopy of your bank card (its number must be clearly visible on the copy);

A check from an ATM must be made no earlier than 3 days ago from the date of submission of documents. The "shelf life" of the certificate is more - 30 days.

  • Medical insurance policy. It should operate throughout the Schengen area, and not just in the Czech Republic. In 2020, the amount of coverage must be at least EUR 30,000;
  • Round-trip tickets. It is not necessary to pay, a reservation will do;
  • Receipt for payment of the consular fee. You will be given it after the fact of payment.
