How and where to pay

To obtain or replace a driver’s license, a citizen has the right to apply:

• to the traffic police department;
• to any traffic police department in the Russian Federation.

If you pay the fee through a terminal, ATM or electronic payment system, the payment details are entered manually and displayed on the receipt. If an inaccuracy was made when paying the fee, the transferred funds can be returned back or credited to the corrected data. To do this, the payer must apply with his passport to the bank branch where the payment was made. An employee of the institution will need to present the original payment document (receipt, check) and write an application for crediting funds using the corrected (correct) details for paying the state fee for driver license. The operation is completed within 7 working days.

A full refund is possible in the following cases:

• the transfer amount exceeds the established fee;
• refusal to carry out an operation (for example, due to an incomplete package of documents submitted to the traffic police).
