Barracks will open at the tenth level of the citadel, which is quite far away, but this building allows you to improve units, which will make the heroes even stronger. It is being built on the site of one of the buildings, but you can switch back at any time for free. You will also not spend anything for returning to the barracks.

Important: When building a base, take into account the fact that constructed buildings cannot be demolished. Therefore, approach the development of your database wisely. Don't hesitate to ask more experienced players about the correct and most effective formation.

Heroes

The most important aspect of the game is leveling up a variety of heroes. All of them are divided into five colors: yellow, red, blue, purple, green. The color of the hero is also responsible for the crystals in battles, which are used in the match-3 game. At the very beginning, we recommend using heroes of all five colors, otherwise some crystals will become useless. But, at the same time, two heroes of the same color will make the corresponding crystals more powerful.

To better understand this system, I will give a couple of examples. For example, if you don’t have a yellow hero on your team, yellow crystals will stop doing damage because of this. And if you have two blue heroes, the damage from them is summed up in blue crystals. Thanks to this, you will be able to select the most profitable tactical combinations.

Also keep an eye on the hero stars. There are five stars in total, the more of them, the more promising the hero is. Try to upgrade the best ones.

Each hero also has his own unique abilities. Some deal great damage to one target, some attack everyone at once, and some heal others.

In order for heroes to become stronger, they will need to be improved. There are two types of improvement: leveling up and promotion. The first is produced through the sacrifice of weaker heroes, as well as the cost of food. Usually the characteristics are pumped up, but there is a small chance of improving the skill. The second is more efficient pumping of the hero, due to which the increase in characteristics becomes more significant, and the ability also improves. But to progress you will need some special items obtained in the main campaign and food.

How to get new heroes?

Units

Units are needed to improve heroes. They are also divided into colors. For example, a yellow hero will need a yellow unit. It is also worth noting that units, like heroes, have stars, which shows their effectiveness. There are four stars in total. The first two improve the hero's three main characteristics. Stronger units are able to improve the fourth characteristic.

How to increase the level of a squad?

At the tenth level of the citadel you will have access to Barracks. They are built on top of one of your buildings (except warehouses) of the fifth level. Battles

As we said earlier, battles take place using the Match 3 mini-game. In order for your hero to attack, you will need to place three crystals with the same color in one row. Can be done both horizontally and vertically.

Depending on what color the crystals are placed in a row, such a hero attacks the target. Still used crystals replenish the hero's mana, thanks to which he can use his ability.

It is also worth paying attention to the location of the opponents. The used crystals must be in front of the enemies, otherwise they will fly past. For example, if all three crystals hit one target, this means that the hero attacked the enemy three times. If only one crystal hits the target, then the hero deals one blow.

At the same time, you do not have to exclusively use “three crystals in a row” combinations. There may be four or five. I propose to take a closer look at the possible combinations:

Using this combination, you will use five crystals at once, which form a horizontal and vertical line.

Having made such a combination, you use two lines to attack at once.

Sometimes there are two bosses against you at once. But pay attention to the dedicated line. If you make a horizontal line along it, you can use it to attack two opponents at once, to which each crystal will deal damage. Use this little trick.

Important: if after activating one line, you automatically activated others - this means a bonus attack that will occur until there are no rows of crystals left on the field with crystals. In addition, bonus hits do not reset the opponent's turn time. Therefore, try to select combinations that have the highest chance of triggering bonus rows. Even if two crystals can be placed in a row, in the future the chance of getting a bonus row will become higher.

Also pay attention to the pattern in the corner of the screen and the color of the rings under the opponents:

PVP

You can carry out raids on other players, thanks to which you will receive additional resources and advance in the world rankings. Battles do not take place directly with the player, but with his heroes controlled by artificial intelligence. In this regard, the battle is not much different from the rest, but enemy heroes will use their abilities, which makes the battle much more difficult.

At first, try to look for opponents with a not too strong team. Try to look for equals or weaker opponents. Also see how many resources you get. Sometimes the costs may become unprofitable. For a certain amount of food you can look for other opponents.

• Don't rush to conquer the ratings. The further you advance, the more difficult the opponents will be. Sometimes it's worth losing some fights. But at the same time, do not leave without a fight, killed enemy heroes will be needed to complete the task.
• But you also shouldn’t stay too long at a rating, since you will receive fewer resources for less developed players. A couple of thousand resources on a highly developed citadel is not the best waste of energy.

2. Mission cooldown is 12 hours since its end! Therefore, it is necessary to go through it as quickly as possible. To do this, by the beginning of the mission you need to accumulate the maximum of the corresponding type of energy.

3. In the mission to defeat heroes, all defeated enemy heroes during raids are counted. If, for example, you lost a battle when raiding an enemy player, but managed to kill 2 of his 5 heroes, then you will be counted 2 points for the mission. In total, to successfully complete the mission you need to kill 40 heroes.

4. Don't try to get a lot of cups. If you have a lot of cups, then you are less likely to encounter strong opponents in PvP, so completing a mission where you need to defeat 40 enemy heroes will be much more difficult. To quickly reduce the number of cups, place 1 weak character in the defense squad, run from the battlefield during the raid and during the mission cooldown period. You only need to collect cups to join a strong alliance; in other cases, they will only complicate the game.

5. Missions where you need to defeat enemies of certain factions (colors) are best completed in the following locations:

2. Lack of resource balance. Initially, the main resources of the game - food and iron - are sorely lacking, then there are so many of them that you don’t know where to put them. Especially when all the heroes are pumped up and consumables are made. There is also a lot of iron at high levels, because... buildings take a very long time to build, and construction can only be accelerated using crystals (read: real money).

3.Low energy reserve. Energy reaches its maximum reserve quite quickly, on average in 3-4 hours. Let me remind you that a healthy person sleeps 7-8 hours, the working day lasts on average 8 hours. Very often there is a situation where energy begins to disappear. In other games, the energy reserve lasts all night.

4. Crooked event rollback. Mission rollback begins from the moment the reward is received.
