I searched for a long time. There are cheap ones in the form of a wallet, but I wanted a solid base. Some are made of plastic, they look very high quality, but the price stopped me.
And so I found a seller who specializes in them. I wanted to win at the auction, but the “tasty prices” were constantly outbid. So I spat and bought fixed rate. After doing the math, I realized that it turned out to be somewhat cheaper than the bids at the auction.
It arrived in three weeks

I decided to test it on the adapter and microSD card I received today.
They sit tight. I tried to tap the case on the palm of my hand, the microSD flies out, the SD fits well (apparently due to the fact that it is pressed against the inner covering).

microSD is slightly recessed.
I didn’t like the inability to open the case up to 180 degrees. microSD have a recess for picking out from the fold side of the case and for people with short nails this can create inconvenience.
Since the MicroSD card is very small, it is easy to lose. The “LEVHSHA” channel showed a master class on how to make a case for carrying and storing an SD card.
Our product will be in the form of a piston with a connecting rod. The master found parts from an old typewriter and melted it in a muffle furnace. Before casting, the container into which we will pour it also needs to be heated in a muffle furnace, otherwise we will get a hot fountain. There are micro bubbles in the part in some places, since you need to experiment with temperature and get rid of toxins. But in this case we don’t care much, since this is not a part from an airplane.
SD card case
We make a piston cover - a cover and cut a thread on it. It will be the smallest that is possible on this machine - 0.5 millimeters. From the same blank we grind the main part of the piston. You need to select the thread and there should still be a small space left for the SD card.
Duralumin is a soft metal, so it turned out that it was easier to cut threads by rotating the chuck by hand. After grinding, those same micro bubbles are visible, but in the video they seem larger, in fact they are small... Shooting in macro.
On ours, as on a real piston, we make slots for the rings. They are needed not only for beauty, but also to hide the junction. Reverse video. The most important part is ready!
Now we drill for the pin, not just ours, but the piston pin. We also grind on the reverse side. We remove the internal chamfer. On the skirt side, the piston is usually not perfectly straight. It has two recesses. We do the same.
We will make a connecting rod from this metal rod. This milling method is not the best, but so far. In general, we make a plate from round timber. The hole on the piston side should be smaller, on the crankshaft side – larger. We draw the contours of the connecting rod and grind it. As they say, the grinder is an indispensable tool for precision machining! We grind, polish, bring it back to normal!
One more part is ready, now we make a limiter so that the connecting rod does not dangle freely in the piston. Some will criticize the lack of a center when turning a finger, but believe me, it won’t be possible to use it with such a diameter. The diameter of the pin must be slightly larger than the hole in the piston in order to press it there. After adjustment, cut the sleeve into two parts. Everything is ready! Can be collected.
You need to be careful when grinding, since duralumin is softer than steel. And of course GOI pasta. I bought the material at a hardware store. It looks like fine-pored rubber, quite soft. It is self-adhesive. We cut out two circles from it according to the diameter of the inner part of our cache. In this way, using a case, we will protect the contacts of the MicroSD card. Well, the final touch is a decorative and functional chain.
