Advice 1: How to enter a child in a new passport

Instruction

If the child will continue to travel with only one of the parents, then you just need to enter it in your passport.

How to enter a child in a passport and is it always necessary?

1. This can be done absolutely free of charge, upon receipt by one of the parents. To do this, bring the child's metrics and four of his photographs to the OVIR.

2. You can enter children only in old-style international passports, provided that the child is not yet 14 years old.

3. It is best when the minor is included in the passports of both parents.

4. The law also does not prohibit children from simultaneously having a separate international passport and being entered in the passport of their parents.

5. If the passport has already been received, and the child is not included in it, then you must contact the OVIR and ask them to make an appropriate entry. To do this, you need to take the following with you:

Duplicate and original birth certificate, with a note of citizenship;

Four color or black-and-white photographs (format 3.5 x 4.5 cm) taken on matte photo paper (the rule also applies to young children);

Your passport;

Photocopy of work book;

3 of your photos.

6. The collected documents must be taken to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or OVIR for delivery.

7. Terms of registration usually do not exceed one month.

If the child is traveling abroad accompanied by one of the parents, then a notarized export permit from the other parent is required. To do this, just go to any notary office and permission.

You can leave without the consent of the child to go to Turkey and Egypt.

The preparation of documents for traveling abroad must be approached with all responsibility. This will help save a lot and nerves when meeting with border guards.

A biometric passport, which is also called a new generation passport, is a document on the basis of which a citizen of the Russian Federation can travel outside its borders. The Federal Migration Service is responsible for issuing such passports.

Where to get a passport

The official name of the passport, which is commonly referred to as biometric, is a foreign passport with an electronic information carrier. This, in turn, reflects the fact that this document contains a special plastic module in which all the basic information about the passport holder is recorded in a machine-readable form. At the same time, such a module simultaneously performs the function of the main page of the passport, on which these data are printed in an ordinary printed form.

The issuance of foreign passports with an electronic data carrier, which are also sometimes called new-style passports, according to the current legislation, is carried out by the branches of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation. At the same time, a citizen of our country can apply for a passport either to the territorial office of the FMS, corresponding to the place of his permanent registration, or to any other branch of the FMS.

This can be convenient, for example, if a person is on a long business trip or, for one reason or another, does not live at the place of registration. However, it should be borne in mind that in this case it will take much longer to wait for the preparation of the document: for example, if when applying at the place of permanent registration this period is 1 month, then when applying to another department of the FMS - 4 months.

How to get a passport

In order to obtain a biometric foreign passport, the specialist of the FMS department where you are applying must provide a completed application form, which can be found on the official website of the organization. Here you will need to indicate all the basic information about yourself, including previous and current places of work, date and place of birth, and other information.

Such an application will need to be accompanied by a receipt for payment of the state fee for issuing a foreign passport with an electronic data carrier, which currently amounts to 2,500 rubles. If at the time of applying for a biometric passport the old foreign passport is still valid, it will also need to be attached to the package of documents submitted to the FMS department. In addition, at the time of application, you will need to present a general passport.
